In this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge required to maintain infection control during skin penetration treatments. This course is a Nationally Accredited Training unit RTO45625
The program provides learners with skills and knowledge to identify, manage and control infection risks to clients, self and work colleagues.
As a result of this program, participants will be able to:
Comply with infection control regulations and guidelines and related legal obligation
Monitor hygiene of premises
Maintain infection control for skin penetration treatments
Sterilise equipment and maintain steriliser
Maintain awareness of clinic design for control of infection risks

This course is a nationally recognised training (accredited) unit. Students will receive a government approved Statement of Attainment on successful completion.
The course consists of 2 x written (theory) assessments and one practical observation assessment which consists of taking a number of short videos.
